Mayor Stephanie Miner today signed a new local law that extends civil rights to all people regardless of gender expression. The law, which passed the city council 7-1 last month, prohibits discrimination based on a person’s “actual or perceived sex, or their gender identity or expression.”
Point Loma Nazarene senior Sean Lewis, who is openly gay, said he and others often feel unwelcome on campus...To lessen that angst among gay students, Lewis recently spearheaded a campaign to begin a gay-themed discussion group.

(Watch the video below.) Outsports says Czaban and Pollin committed a flagrant foul on their Thursday show, referring to Ludwig as "he/she" and "it" while making snide remarks about her appearance.
