A new Change.org petition has been launched calling on the Indigo Girls and other performers at the 2013 Michigan Womyn's Music Festival to pull out and boycott the festival until they adopt a policy that would allow transgender women to attend.

Tonight the Sundance Channel will introduce audiences to Push Girls, a new reality series following five women living with paralysis. Though all five are wheelchair bound, the show demonstrates their lives are just as full and complicated as anyone’s, and includes a woman named Tiphany who dates both men and women.

After weeks of speculation, DC Comics confirmed today that the iconic superhero they would reveal as gay is none other than the original Green Lantern, Alan Scott, who will be seen kissing his boyfriend in next week’s issue of Earth 2. What’s more, Earth 2 writer James Robinson told the Advocate that the book will feature a diverse cast that includes at least one more gay character to be revealed down the road.
