VIDEO: Glee and Jersey Shore Stars, GLAAD, and The Weinstein Company Team Up for Anti-Bullying Videos

Glee stars Naya Rivera and Cory Montieth, along with the Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino, star in a new PSA series explaining what parents and kids can do to take a stand against bullying, and asking them to visit thebullyproject.com. The PSAs are being released in conjunction with the film Bully, which opens in theaters in New York and Los Angeles tomorrow.

'SNL' Hires Kate McKinnon, Show's First Out Lesbian Featured Player

Saturday Night Live recently hired a new female comic, Kate McKinnon, known for her work with Upright Citizens Brigade and the Big Gay Sketch Show. The latter hints at the fact that, yes, McKinnon is gay, which effectively makes her SNL's first openly lesbian featured player. (Terry Sweeney, who appeared in the disastrous 1985-86 season, was the show's first openly gay guy.) She makes her debut this Saturday when Sofia Vergara hosts.

Mark Bingham's Mom Fires Back

TMZ interviews Alice Hoagland, the mother of openly gay 9/11 hero Mark Bingham. "Yes, my gay son was known in our family for bringing me flowers on my birthday and Mother’s Day. He also was known for careening down the rugby pitch, and, on the morning of September 11, 2001, for charging unarmed down the aisle of a doomed Boeing 757 to face knife-wielding Islamist thugs in a hijacked cockpit."
