Video: Cheyenne Jackson, Vinny Guadagnino Present GLAAD Media Award to Carson Kressley for Dancing with the Stars

Last night Dancing with the Stars contestant Carson Kressley brought home a GLAAD Media Award in the Outstanding Reality Program Category. Broadway and television star Cheyenne Jackson along with The Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino took the stage to present the category.

Why Words and Images Matter: The GLAAD Media Awards at Work

While riding the subway the other day, I was seated next to a young girl, maybe 8 or 9 years old, and her father. “Twenty-eighth Street is next. And then 23rd. And then 18th,” she told me. Apparently, even she could tell I wasn’t a New Yorker.

Then, as the train came to a stop at the station (sure enough, 28th Street), her attention was drawn to a gay couple who boarded holding hands. She quieted.

“Do those men love each other?” she asked her father.

This could be interesting.

Kirk Cameron Responds to Critics

“I should be able to express moral views on social issues,” he said, “especially those that have been the underpinning of Western civilization for 2,000 years — without being slandered, accused of hate speech, and told from those who preach ‘tolerance’ that I need to either bend my beliefs to their moral standards or be silent when I’m in the public square.”

Tracey Gold, More Stars Slam Kirk Cameron for Anti-Gay Remarks

Several celebrities, including Tracey Gold, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Roseanne Barr, this week criticized actor Kirk Cameron for anti-gay comments he made during an interview with Piers Morgan.
