Nominations for the 3rd Annual Critics' Choice Television Awards were announced this morning and several out actors, characters and LGBT-inclusive series were honored. The award recipients will be announced on June 10 at a ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel hosted by Retta (Parks and Recreation).

Lance Bass discussed coming out on The Ricki Lake Show this past week and in a new clip says National Coming Out Day should also be National Asking Day, citing that had his parents talked to him earlier and let him know they would still love and accept him, he would have come out much earlier in his life.

GLAAD released its annual Where We Are on TV report; a comprehensive review of scripted lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) primetime characters in the upcoming 2012-2013 television season.

The 8th Annual Outfest Legacy Awards will be held at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on October 13.
