On Tuesday, former Catholic school teacher, Carla Hale, who was fired from Bishop Watterson High School after being outed filed a complaint with the city of Columbus. In the complaint, she said her dismissal goes against the city's anti-discrimination ordinance. Hale has also filed a grievance through the local Catholic teachers union.

Smith College to form committee addressing discrimination against trans women applicants following advocacy
Students at Smith College delivered more than 4,000 signatures from a Change.org petition to school administrators, calling for Smith to treat trans women applicants equally in the admissions process.
