The schedule for the Outfest Fusion LGBT People of Color Film Festival was announced yesterday. Fusion 2013 will be held in Los Angeles on Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23 with films playing at both the Egyptian Theatre and the REDCAT Theatre.

Filmmaker Anne Clements in conjunctions with GaymerConnect, the first convention dedicated to LGBT gaming culture, is using Kickstarter to fund the production of a documentary titled Gayming in Color: Queers and Gaymers of the Pixelated World. The documentary will explore LGBTQ presence in the gaming community, and tell the story of the creators of GaymerConnect.

On March 16, Hollywood director Brett Ratner will receive the Ally Award at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York. Attendees will get an exclusive look at a public service announcement campaign helmed by Ratner. The GLAAD 'Coming Out for Equality' PSA series features a diverse group of straight celebrities and athletes "coming out of the closet" as supporters of equality and calling for other Americans to speak out.
