Yahoo! really went all out for Spirit Day. Beyond going purple on Facebook and Twitter, Yahoo! asked employees to do the same and featured a blog post about Spirit Day on the Yahoo! OMG Blog, in which they tout the features of Spirit Day from its youth-inspired roots to its star studded power.

We plan to highlight some of the submitted stories on GLAAD Blog the week leading up to and after Spirit Day on October 20.
