Film Screening of 'God Loves Uganda' in San Francisco

Join GLAAD, AJWS and Horizons Foundation for a special screening of God Loves Uganda

In San Francisco, American Jewish World Service (AJWS) and Horizons Foundation are hosting a film screening of God Loves Uganda, a documentary that explores the American Evangelical movement's impact - both religiously and through an exportation of their values - on Uganda's LGBTI community, elected officials, and influential citizens. GLAAD and other organizations are sponsoring the screening, which will be held in recognition of International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia, and 2013 Harvey Milk Day. The screening will conclude with a community forum featuring Dr. Kapya Kaoma of Political Research Associates, who is prominently featured in the film. Dr. Kaoma will be joined by scholars, human rights funders, and faith leaders. There is no admission charge to attend this event.
