After Anti-Gay Survey, Ex-Coach Remains a Guidance Counselor

As part of a national conversation about anti-gay bullying and harassment, parents and students are standing up to say there is no room for dangerous bullying behavior in our schools. Students should be able to have relationships of trust and mutual respect with their guidance counselors, something that ex-coach Pat Lynch clearly violated with his reckless decision to distribute the “Hurt Feelings Report.”

Calif. Supreme Court Says Anti-gay Activists Do Have Standing

Today, the California Supreme Court issued an advisory opinion that opponents of marriage equality in California DO have standing to argue in support of Proposition 8 in a court of law. This will force anti-gay activists to make their arguments in a court of law, where those arguments will not hold up.


"We Are The Change" Transgender Day of Remembrance Event in West Hollywood/Los Angeles

On Sunday, November 20, the West Hollywood Transgender Advisory Board will be hosting an event to commemorate the 13th Transgender Day of Remembrance from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the West Hollywood/Los Angeles area. The theme of the event is "We Are The Change" and will feature a number of guest speakers and performers.
