Tonight catch the series premiere of medical drama Emily Owens, M.D. on The CW and a new episode of The Voice as battle rounds continue.

What to Watch: Tuesday, October 16

8:00pm: The Voice, NBC (1 hr) NEW

The battle rounds continue as contestants battle their teammates in duets with help from mentors Billie Joe Armstrong, Mary J. Blige, Michael Buble and Rob Thomas. This season the twist is that coaches can steal a losing artist for their own team. Out contestant De'Borah is a member of Team Xtina.

9:00pm: Emily Owens, M.D., CW (1 hr) SERIES PREMIERE

Emily Owens is ready to start her internship at Denver Memorial Hospital. She quickly becomes best friends with Tyra Dupre, another intern who confides that she is a lesbian and isn't yet out to her father, Chief of Surgery Dr. Dupre. Watch the trailer below.
