VIDEO: Google Zeitgeist ad celebrates LGBT heroes of 2013

"In 2013, the world searched for…", the ad begins. What the people of the world found was "new beginnings," and "inspiration," in the form of the LGBT community, its milestones, and its allies.

Cassidy Lynn Campbell, one of the country's first trans high school students to be named homecoming queen, openly gay NBA athlete Jason Collins, marriage equality, and champion of equality Nelson Mandela, are among the many highlights celebrated in the advertisement "Google Zeitgest | Here's to 2013."
