VIDEO: Gay military veterans tie the knot at senior home

World War II veteran John Banvard, 95, and 67-year-old Gerard Nadeau, who served in Vietnam, were married in a ceremony at the Veterans Home of Chula Vista, California, last week. The couple decided to marry after the Supreme Court's historic marriage equality decisions last year.

Facility director Neal Asper said the news wasn't well received by all residents, but “I told them, they have the right to get married here just like everybody else.” We wish the adorable couple well, and hope they live happily ever after!
