As we celebrate National Coming Out Day today, take a look at some out and proud families from Betty Crocker, a proud supporter of LGBT families. Betty Crocker's new video is part of the Families Project which spotlights diverse families around the country.

The new video released by Betty Crocker declares, "Betty Crocker loves all families, no matter what they look like." Featuring a compilation of interviews, video booths, and footage from Pride events, the video asks families: "What is the one thing you want the world to know about your family?"

Each family member talked about how their family was unique and special, but "love makes us the same."

Your family can also participate in the project on the Families Project tumblr page!

"By showcasing diverse families and continuing their strong support of LGBT families, Betty Crocker is helping to show Americans that the key ingredient to a family is simply love," said GLAAD spokesperson Wilson Cruz. "On National Coming Out Day GLAAD joins Betty Crocker in celebrating out and proud LGBT people and their families around the country."

After marriage equality became law in Minnesota earlier this year, Betty Crocker donated wedding cakes to the first couples to be married. Parent company General Mills, one of GLAAD's partners, also donated to the campaign to defeat an amendment banning marriage for gay and lesbian couples in Minnesota last year.
