UN releases Bollywood video about family acceptance

The United Nations Free & Equal campaign has shared another video promoting equality for LGBT people around the globe. This time, they are targeting India with a Bollywood-style video starring Indian actress Celina Jaitly. The video shares themes of family acceptance and love. According to Free & Equal, "It’s a beautiful reminder that everyone should be warmly welcomed by family, no matter who they are or whom they love."

Free & Equal is an initiative of the United Nations Human Rights Office. The campaign has released several videos in the past. The first video came right as the campaign was launching, describing how homophobia has hurt millions of people around the world. Another highlights the history of LGBT equality at the UN.
