TV Land's "The Soul Man" features wedding of a lesbian couple tonight

TV Land's comedy The Soul Man will feature Rev. Boyce (Cedric the Entertainer) marrying a lesbian couple in tonight's episode, "Bride & Prejudice," airing on TV Land at 11 pm ET/PT. Reverend Boyce's old friend Gina (Toni Trucks) returns to town and asks him to officiate her marriage to her partner Drew (Paula Jai Parker). When Boyce agrees, he finds that not every member of his congregation is pleased with his support of a same-sex wedding.

Star Cedric the Entertainer says that in the episode his character "finds himself going against the will of the church standing (pretty much alone) on the philosophy that 'If Love Is Love, Then It Doesn't Matter Where It Lands.'  Some funny and insightful writing by our show writers and great performances by Paula Jai Parker and Toni Trucks make this an especially intriguing episode that we're all looking forward to folks seeing."

Check out The Soul Man on TV Land tonight at 11 pm ET/PT.
