Trans Advocate Janet Mock Is HuffPo's LGBT History Month Advocate Of The Day

Trans advocate Janet Mock is featured today as LGBT History Month Icon of the Day in The Huffington Post’s Gay Voices section. The feature briefly shares Janet’s story of coming out in Marie Claire magazine and becoming a prominent voice in the transgender community through her social media campaign #girlslikeus. Janet will be honored with the Silvia Rivera Activist Award at the Silvia Rivera Law Project’s 10th anniversary celebration in November. You can see the full story on Gay Voices here.
