TAKE THE PLEDGE: #StandWithTarget on June 1 as LGBT Pride Month Begins

Recently, Target has come under fire by a small – but loud – group of people who oppose its policies that protect LGBT people. The company is sending a clear message that it stands for equality and acceptance alongside others like Starbucks and Barnes & Noble.

You can read Target's statement supporting its LGBT customers here.

It's time to come together to tell Target – "Thank you for doing the right thing!"  You can join GLAAD, Family Equality Council, GLSEN, and Freedom for All Americans and take the pledge to #StandWithTarget on Wednesday, June 1 as LGBT Pride Month begins.

CLICK HERE TO TAKE THE PLEDGE AND SHARE IT WITH OTHERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

Then, be sure to mark your calendar for June 1 and take a stand with us by:

  • Visiting a Target store and taking a selfie for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Snapcat
  • Shop at Target in your community or online. We encourage you to buy supplies and donate them to your local LGBT organization

Thanks in advance for voicing your appreciation for companies like Target that value everyone.
