Spanish-language media participates in Spirit Day 2013

When you look at your TV screen on Thursday October 17th don't be surprised to see a lot of purple on both English and Spanish-language TV. Lots of presenters and entertainment personalities from Spanish-language media are supporting #SpiritDay 2013. Among those who have committed to supporting Spirit Day are the hosts of " "Un Nuevo Día", "Al Rojo Vivo", "Titulares y Más", and "Acceso Total."

We also hope many presenters who participated last year, like Rodner Figueroa, Teresa Rodriguez from “Aquí y Ahora", and Satcha Pretto from “Despierta América” will again participate this year. Telemundo newsrooms in Denver, Las Vegas, New York, Phoenix and San Jose will also be participating in order to raise awareness and stand up against bullying. Univision Phoenix, which recently hosted GLAAD, and their affiliated radio stations will also be participating.

When you see someone on air wear purple, send them a tweet of thanks using #SpiritDay and remember to wear purple, change all your social media to purple and to support youth with your anti-bullying messages.
