Snapshots of Our Work

Wonder what we’re up to at GLAAD?

Be sure to check out GLAAD Blog each week for updates about our latest work to build support for LGBT equality through news, entertainment and online media.

  • GLAAD’s Spanish-Language Media team helped craft and place an essay by Deputy Vice President of Resource Development at National Council of La Raza (NCLR) Ruben Gonzales in both the Huffington Post Latino Voices (in English) and AOL Latino (in Spanish). The essay, which was published on Valentine’s Day, spoke on the joys of married life, family and acceptance.
  • GLAAD announced a groundbreaking video campaign to be produced and directed by filmmaker Brett Ratner. The upcoming video series will feature a diverse group of Hollywood celebrities, athletes, musicians and politicians ‘coming out of the closet’ as supporters of equality.
