• GLAAD’s Media Field Strategy team helped share the story of newlyweds Chris and Victor in a Parenting Magazine article titled, “The New Normal.” The article was cross-posted to CNN.com where countless readers learned that same-sex parents are just the same as any other.

• GLAAD’s Religion, Faith & Values team worked to shine light on the harms of so-called “reparative therapy” after the dissemination of a document entitled, “Declaration of the Torah Approach to Homosexuality,” which deemed so-called “reparative therapy” as the only kosher option for gay and lesbian Jewish people.

• GLAAD encouraged supporters to “Let Aunt Betty Feel Awkward this Thanksgiving” and build support for equality by sharing their stories with friends, family and coworkers during the holiday season. GLAAD’s #AwkwardThanksgiving social media tools also allowed supporters to post pictures and stories online.
