She's back! Rosie O'Donnell returns as co-host of The View

ABC's The View announced today that out actress and TV star Rosie O'Donnell will return as co-host of the show for its 18th season.

The news comes after days of speculation that O'Donnell would be joining moderator Whoopi Goldberg following the departure of co-hosts Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy.

O'Donnell left The View in 2007 following an argument with then co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Since leaving the show, O'Donnell has re-married and is a heart attack survivor. Welcome back, Rosie!
