PHOTOS: GLAAD at the Trans 100

This past weekend, GLAAD staff and board members were in Chicago, where the 2nd annual Trans 100 live event were held. GLAAD was an official sponsor of the Trans 100 and is continuing to provide support through media outreach in preparation of the full list being released on Wednesday, April 2.

GLAAD Senior Media Strategist Tiq Milan was named to the Trans 100 list this year. He also addressed the live event and presented a section of the list on stage.

From the reaction on Twitter, his comments were well received.

In addition to Tiq Milan, last year's Trans 100 list included GLAAD Board Members Jennifer Finney Boylan and Christina Kahrl. Christina presented on stage with mixed martial artist Fallon Fox, who marched with GLAAD in last year's NYC LGBT Pride March.

Look out for more media coverage of the Trans 100 as GLAAD continues outreach upon the release of the full list, which will be available as a PDF at www.TheTrans100.com. If you are interested in writing about the 2014 Trans 100, please contact dheffernan@glaad.org.
