The film features a diverse group of high profile LGBT individuals discussing coming out, building successful careers while out, and reflecting on the challenges still facing the LGBT community and the next steps for the movement. Check out the trailer below.

Mock, the founder of #GirlsLikeUs, today posted a blog about her experience filming the documentary and the importance of sharing her personal story. She said:

"Personal stories are vital to culture change and I believe that this film will be pivotal to changing people’s perceptions about the LGBT community, but personal narratives are not everything. True progress occurs when we’re able to contextualize our personal experiences and come to the realization that we are part of a movement of people struggling with similar and dissimilar systemic oppressions."

Don't miss Mock and other LGBT celebs tonight in The OUT List on HBO at 9:30 pm ET.
