NewFest 2013, New York's LGBT Film Festival, celebrates 25th anniversary September 6-11; tickets on sale now

NewFest 2013, New York's premier annual LGBT film festival, marks its 25th anniversary with its run from September 6-11. All tickets are on sale now!

The festival will open with the New York premiere of Stacie Passon's Concussion, with the filmmaker present for a question and answer session following the screening. Filmmaker Chris Mason Johnson will also be in attendance for a discussion following the closing night screening and New York premiere of his film Test. Check out the full NewFest lineup here.

Some highlights of the schedule include the New York premieres of Geography Club starring Glee's Alex Newell (Unique) and Pit Stop which will both feature live Q&A sessions with the filmmakers. Geography Club won the 2013 Outfest Los Angeles Audience Award for Best First Feature, while Pit Stop took home the 2013 Outfest Los Angeles Grand Jury Award for Best Actor.


NewFest will also feature the U.S. premiere of You and the Night and the New York premieres of Who's Afraid of Vagina Wolf?, The Rugby Player, The Most Fun I've Ever Had With My Pants On, Mohammed to Maya, Love Me Not, Last Summer, The Last Match, Kink, Interior. Leather Bar., In the Name of… and Hot Guys with Guns.
