Hosts of Access Hollywood, E! News and CNBC, as well as the cast of Days of Our Lives and Telemundo's Al Rojo Vivo, are among those from NBCUniversal who will be going purple for #SpiritDay this Friday, 10/19. Hosts of Chelsea Lately will also be sharing the #SpiritDay message on social media.

Comcast and NBCUniversal will also be sharing information about #SpiritDay with employees across country, and inviting others to participate through their official social media channels.

You can join us for Spirit Day by RSVPing on Facebook to wear purple on October 19 and going purple today on Facebook and Twitter.

NBCUniversal joins other Spirit Day participants including the NBA and Major League Baseball, the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign and Vegas strip, MTV, and celebrities including Ricky Martin and Reba McEntire!

You can also get involved by downloading GLAAD’s Spirit Day resource kit, which contains tools to help turn your community purple in a stand against bullying. Spirit Day participants can also spread the word by telling their friends that they’re going purple on 10/19. Or, you can text PURPLE to 80888 to donate $5 to support the important work GLAAD,GLSEN and The Trevor Project do every day to end bullying and support LGBT youth.
