One of the standout films from the 2013 Sundance Film Festival was the drama 'Pit Stop' from director Yen Tan, who spoke with GLAAD about the film (available on VOD today) and his dream to adapt Alison Bechdel's 'Fun Home.'
Last week, GLAAD's own Wilson Cruz moderated a special panel held at Creative Artist Agency (CAA) headquarters in Los Angeles addressing the entertainment industry's role in telling the stories of LGBT people.
Last year, GLAAD examined the previous ten years of transgender inclusive television episodes, and found that more than half of those tracked were either negative or outright defamatory. Things haven't improved much since.
