Madonna Continues to Speak Out on Behalf of the Community, Showing Support for Marriage Equality

Madonna showed her support for gay and lesbian couples as the Supreme Court began hearing oral arguments on two cases about marriage equality. She posted a picture of a handwritten note on Facebook and Instagram that read "Marriage equality! Let's start a revolution."

Earlier this month Madonna wore a Boy Scout uniform to show support for GLAAD's year-long campaign to end the Boy Scouts of America's ban on gay scouts and leaders during the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on New York City.

Take a look at other straight allies who have voiced their support for gay and lesbian couples here. GLAAD is on the ground in Washington DC all day today, as marriage equality supporters (and opponents) are rallying, and as the United States Supreme Court continues to hear arguments in cases that will decide the future of Prop. 8 and DOMA.
