Macklemore and Ryan Lewis perform "Same Love" on MTV VMA's with Mary Lambert, Jennifer Hudson; Lambert releases video for "She Keeps Me Warm"

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performed "Same Love" with Mary Lambert and special guest Jennifer Hudson last night at the MTV Video Music Awards, introduced by out NBA player Jason Collins. The song took home the award for Best Video with a Social Message, and Macklemore used the opportunity to express his support for LGBT equality, "Out of every single song that I have ever written, to me this is the most important record out of all of them….Gay rights are human rights.  There is no separation."

Out singer/songwriter Lambert last week released the video for "She Keeps Me Warm," the full track extension from her chorus on the platinum hit "Same Love." The song, written solely by Lambert and intended as "the other side of the 'Same Love' story," is available for purchase through iTunes now. Check out the video below!
