Yesterday, KESQ, Channel 3 featured Sabores in their evening news cast. GLAAD applauds KESQ for telling this important story. This story helps people of the Coachella Valley see the everyday stories of LGBT youth, and lets young LGBT youth know that there is a safe place for them to socialize with other people their own age.
The Sabores Youth Program is one of Bienestar’s HIV-prevention programs geared to educate LGBT youth ages of 14 to 24. Sabores focuses on fostering the health and well-being of LGBT youth.
