Heritage Pride, the group that organizes NYC Pride, announced that Laverne Cox, Jonathan Groff and Rea Carey will serve as Grand Marshals for the 2014 NYC Pride Parade. Laverne Cox is best known for her role in the Netflix hit Orange is the New Black, and she recently accepted the Stephen F. Kolzak at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles. Jonathan Groff, known for roles on Broadway, film and television, plays Patrick on HBO's Looking. Rea Carey is the Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.

GLAAD and Interscope Records today released “Hands,” a musical tribute to the victims of Orlando, featuring Mary J Blige, Jason Derulo, Tyler Glenn, Selena Gomez, Halsey, Ty Herndon, Imagine Dragons, Juanes, Adam Lambert, Mary Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, Kacey Musgraves, MNEK, Alex Newell, P!nk, Prince Royce, Nate Ruess, RuPaul, Troye Sivan, Jussie Smollett, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, and Meghan Trainor. The tribute will be made available in the U.S. at iTunes exclusively.
