Washington State Rep. Jim Moeller (D-Vancouver) announced Thursday that he and a group of other Democratic legislators, along with a coalition of LGBT and civil liberties groups, will be advocating for marriage equality in the state next year.
Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) and Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) last week introduced the “Real Education for Healthy Youth Act,” aimed at educating teenagers about LGBT people and issues in federally funded sex education programs.
