Heartfelt video reveals Illinois longing for marriage equality

A video produced by Illinois Unites for Marriage demonstrates the urgency behind the push for marriage equality in Illinois. The video shares the loving stories of a few of the many LGBT couples and families in Illinois who continue to struggle for full equality. The video includes remarks from State Rep. Greg Harris, who is the chief sponsor of the bill for marriage equality, apologizing to families who were hoping for marriage equality when it was considered by the Illinois legislature back in May. The Illinois legislature is currently in a video session that runs through next week. Marriage equality advocates are calling on the legislature to pass the law by then.

Please watch and share widely, especially with your friends in Illinois.
