He will rock you: Adam Lambert to tour with Queen

Openly gay singer Adam Lambert appeared on Good Morning America to announce that he would be joining Queen in a North American tour this summer. Lambert was joined by original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor when he made the announcement. Watch the video:

Lambert said, “Queen is one of the quintessential rock bands of all time…they’ve influenced bands for years to come."

This is not the first time he's joined the legendary band. Queen performed with Lambert on American Idol in 2009, at the MTV European Music Awards in 2011, and in the summer of 2012 in various cities around Europe.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 14. “Come see us, it’s going to be amazing,” Lambert said.
