Great Coming Out Day Theatre Event in LA

On Oct. 11 Casa 0101 Theater, in collaboration with the Latino Equality Alliance, will present the 2nd annual Brown & Out Theater Festival featuring 10 plays with LGBTQ themes about Latino/a youth.

Casa 0101 Theater was founded by Josefina López, author of “Real Women Have Curves,” to bring art and live theatre to Boyle Heights, CA. Once home to a bridal shop, Casa 0101 is now a leading arts venue.

The Latino Equality Alliance is a community grassroots non-profit organization, established after Proposition 8, that works in collaboration with LGBTQ and ally organizations to increase support for LGBTQ people and their families.
