Dave Montez, former acting president of GLAAD and now head of One Colorado, is on the cover of El Semanario, a print and digital newspaper in that state. The article profiles his career and the work that One Colorado is doing to get marriage equality for the state, access to healthcare for transgender people and other issues that impact the larger LGBT community. The piece quotes Montez as he explains the intersectional issues that are important to him and other Latino LGBT people

"…Latino issues are LGBT issues. We care about immigration, women’s reproductive freedom, raising our own families, healthcare, education and other social struggles because these are our issues too."

El Semanario is a bilingual weekly newspaper with online editions part of the Hispanic Digital Network that provides news and opinion for Latinos throughout the country.
