GLAAD at Work: Continuing to educate journalists about fair coverage of LGBT people

Though media coverage of LGBT people and issues has overall significantly improved in the last few decades, we have a long way to go before the media really represents the whole community accurately and respectfully, in particular LGBT people of color  and transgender people.

On the eve of momentous United States Supreme Court decisions, the San Diego Press Club will be hosting its first-ever panel discussion addressing the media coverage on LGBT people and issues affecting them. GLAAD's own Director of Spanish-Language Media Monica Trasandes is a featured panelist.

What: A panel discussion and Q&A featuring noted experts on covering LGBT people and issues.

Where: KGTV - Channel 10 4600 Air Way San Diego, CA  92102
