Barnard College’s second annual Athena Film Festival: A Celebration in Women in Leadership is set to open tomorrow in NYC.
Among the festival’s 30+ films, which “illuminate the stories of courageous women who have made a difference across the globe,” are two GLAAD Media Awards nominees: Maryam Keshavarz’s ‘Circumstance’ and Celine Sciamma’s ‘Tomboy’ – both of which are nominated in the Outstanding Film, Limited Release category.
