George Takei, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Brad Goreski Team Up for Funny or Die's "Gays Beware" Mock-PSA

Funny or Die today released a new mock public service announcement, "Gays Beware," narrated by George Takei and starring Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Brad Goreski, about the "dangerous individuals that oppose marriage equality" that may be living in your neighborhood. The spot mocks the early Boys Beware scare films. Check out Takei, Tyler Ferguson and Goreski in "Gays Beware" below.

The spot features bowties from Tyler Ferguson's foundation and bowtie fashion line Tie the Knot, which he launched last year with fiancée Justin Mikita. Tie the Knot produces collections of unique bowties in limited quantities with the proceeds benefitting various organizations working for LGBT equality.

Last week, Rhode Island became the 10th state to bring marriage equality to same-sex couples. GLAAD was on the ground in Washington, D.C. in March as the Supreme Court heard arguments in cases that will decide the future of the so-called Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and Prop. 8. Decisions in these cases are expected next month. Recent polls from ABC News/Washington Post show that 58% of Americans now support marriage equality, the highest total ever seen in a mainstream national poll.
