"East Los High" introduces LGBT storyline

"East Los High" will feature Latinas questioning their sexual orientation when season 2 of the show premieres July 9 on Hulu.

The show began as a way to educate Latino youth about social issues in an entertaining way and it's done its job well—becoming one of Hulu's most popular shows. Wise Entertainment and creators Carlos Portugal and Kathleen Bedoya tackled teen pregnancy, STDs/HIV and reproductive rights in Season 1. The show uses humor, drama and dance to keep things entertaining, and we look forward to seeing how this new season (and new cast) explores love, sex, relationships and LGBT issues.
