More than 1,500 New Yorkers gathered today in Manhattan to mourn the death of a 32 year-old gay man, who was shot down on Friday just blocks away from the historic Stonewall Inn in an apparent act of anti-gay bias.
Cuéntame Announces New Latino LGBT Video Series

Self-proclaimed ¡Latino instigators!, Cuéntame, have announced the launching of a new video campaign called “An Honest Conversation” that focuses exclusively on LGBT issues in the Latino community. The campaign will consist of a series of five videos that aim to cover different issues in the LGBT Latino youth community, in an effort to create a larger cultural dialogue.
Cuéntame is a non-profit digital media organization founded in 2009 that focuses on Latino arts, media and activism. They work to amplify the voices of Latinos through short videos to create a powerful impact in their community.
