Brutal murder of gay teen in Peru

Joel Morelo Sánchez, a gay Peruvian 19 year old man, was killed and dismembered November 22nd in Chachapoyas the Amazonian region of Peru.  The young man is seen leaving a local club on the security cameras, later only a wristband on his right hand could be used to identify him in the aftermath of this brutal crime. 

Gio Infante the director of a gay rights group in Peru called out Peruvian legislators for their failure to add incidents of homophobia to a hate crimes bill that passed in July.  According to El Comercio, hundreds of people in the town are calling for justice in this case.
