ABC Family renews 'The Fosters' for Season 2

ABC Family's hit drama The Fosters from executive producer Jennifer Lopez and creators Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige (Queer as Folk), about "a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms" was today renewed for a second season. The show returns with the latter half of season one in January.

GLAAD released it's 7th Annual Network Responsibility Index looking back at the 2012-2013 TV season and the 18th Annual Where We Are on TV report looking ahead to the 2013-2014 season today.
