ABC Family Drama 'The Fosters' Sets Premiere Date, Releases Trailer

The new ABC Family drama The Fosters, from executive producer Jennifer Lopez and creators Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige (Queer as Folk), about "a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms" will premiere on Monday, June 3 at 9:00 pm ET/PT. The first trailer for the series was released this week, check it out below.

Michael Riley, ABC Family President, noted that the hour-long drama perfectly merges with the network's "groundbreaking storytelling and iconic characters" and will feature "the same depth, heart, close relationships and authenticity that our viewers have come to expect."

Teri Polo (Meet the Parents, The West Wing) will play police officer Stef Foster and Sherri Saum (In Treatment, Sunset Beach) stars as school principal Lena Foster. Their already full household will be disrupted when they take in troubled teen Callie. Don't miss The Fosters when it premieres on ABC Family Monday, June 3 at 9:00pm ET/PT!
