10 photos of Queen of Bounce Big Freedia breaking a world record

Big Freedia, New Orleans native and Queen of the Bounce rap movement, broke a world record in New York City. Big Freedia, who was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award in the past, was joined by hundreds of New Yorkers hoping to set the Guinness World Record™ for "Most People Twerking Simultaneously." GLAAD staff swung by on our lunch break to see what it was all about. Check out our pictures below, and don't miss Big Freedia's show "Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce" when it premieres on Fuse TV on October 2.
