KY Brand values all committed relationships equally and was proud to put out the message that gay and lesbian couples are equal to any other couple. KY launched the first ever TV ad campaign to focus on a lesbian couple on television mainstream cable network. The PR campaign resulted in massive coverage on lesbian blogs, LGBT media, general market media, Twitter and Facebook, earning more than 22 million impressions. Much of the coverage commented that unlike advertising in the past, this spot was not portraying LGBT characters as stereotypes or caricatures.
