So many people don't know what it is like to be raised by a parent or two who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer—which can lead to a lot of misinformation. We'd love to help you share your thoughts or memories. What have been the gifts and challenges? Did you ever face discrimination as a result?  How were you treated by your friends, or teachers and classmates, your neighbors when they found out?  Don't worry about the form, just tell your story.

Tell the governors of those states that all families should be protected. Share the holiday photos of your family -- whether you're LGBT or an ally -- with the governors of these states and enourage them to support equality for everyone.
