As Vice President of Operations, Charlotte Wells manages the strategic planning, decision making and execution of all activities within the Administration, Finance, IT, Donor Services and Human Resource functions of GLAAD. She comes to GLAAD with over fifteen years of experience working with national and international nonprofit organizations in both the US and UK, focusing on strategic development and implementation, operations and customer service/account management.
Charlotte hails from the UK and spent her early career with the BritishAmerican Business Inc., the leading transatlantic business organization dedicated to helping companies connect and build their business on both sides of the Atlantic. She left in 2003 as their Commercial Director overseeing all operational business areas and moved to Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, Charlotte joined The British American Business Council, Los Angeles and became their Executive Director in 2005. Prior to joining GLAAD, Charlotte worked as the Director of Membership Services for LA INC., the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Charlotte is a graduate of the University of Lincoln with a BA (with honors) in Business and Marketing, and The Chartered Institute of Marketing with a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. Her interests include long distance cycling, spinning and champagne.
