Thom Reilly (Las Vegas) (June 2007-Present)
Thom Reilly is Professor/Director of the School of Social Work at San Diego State University. He is also President/CEO of the Reilly Group, Inc., a strategic consulting, marketing and management firm focusing on public, private and non-profit/non-governmental organizations. Through his firm, Thom serves as Executive Director for the Caesars Foundation, the non-profit philanthropic arm of Harrah’s Entertainment. Reilly is the former County Manager/CEO for Clark County, Nevada where he was responsible for the fiscal management of the County's $5.8 billion budget and administrative oversight for 38 departments and over 12,000 employees. Dr. Reilly has held senior administrative position in the Nevada System of Higher Education serving as Vice-Chancellor of the Health Sciences System and has held faculty positions with the College of Urban Affairs at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Additionally, he has held senior administrative positions with the State of Nevada overseeing income maintenance programs and the statewide child welfare system. Reilly holds both a Doctorate and Master of Public Administration degrees from the University of Southern California USC), as well as degrees from Arizona State University and Memphis State University. In 2005, he was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA).
