Seth Persily (Atlanta, GA) (May 2015 - Present)

Mr. Persily is a member of the Georgia Bar and worked at the Atlanta law firm of Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan before starting his own firm, Persily & Associates, P.C.  In October 2008 Mr. Persily merged his practice with the international law firm of Adorno & Yoss, where he managed the firm’s Atlanta real estate practice. He left Adorno & Yoss in 2010 to begin his career at Penn Multimedia.

Mr. Persily is a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. While at Harvard, Mr. Persily served as Publisher of the Harvard Law Record and President of the Lambda Law Association. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Religion and a minor in LGBT Studies.

A New York native, Mr. Persily relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1999. Mr. Persily is an active member of the Atlanta community, and has served on the Board of Directors for YouthPride, Georgia Equality, and as Co-Chair of GLAAD’s Atlanta Leadership Council.  A graduate of L.E.A.D. Atlanta, Seth was appointed by Mayor Shirley Franklin to sit on the City of Atlanta's Civil Service Commission. Mr. Persily also authored the book Arguing Equality.
